My name is Jessica Grasz, Social Worker with Kearney Public Schools. I have been with Kearney Public Schools since 2017 and I have the pleasure to service both Central and Northeast Elementary.

What do I do?

As the School Social Worker, I am excited to work with the students. While at school, I provide social and emotional support to the students, crisis intervention, and work with students individually or in groups, based on the students needs.  I also can help parents with needs that they may have outside of school. I can help connect parents with resources in the community, make referrals, or talk through any concerns they may have. A little about myself

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Family Life Counseling from the Nebraska Christian College in 2010 and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2014.

I have a husband, Andy and an almost one-year old son named Joel. Joel has been such a blessing and joy, but also keeps us on our toes.
