Welcome!

Hello! I am Cara Carranza and I am one of the resource teachers at both Central Elementary and Bryant Elementary. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and my Master's degree from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. I have been working at Kearney Public Schools since 2018. Prior to moving to Kearney I taught special education in Denver, Colorado and Springfield, Missouri.

 

I work with students individually or in small groups to support them in all academic areas. I love building relationships with students and figuring out their unique needs and learning styles!

 

I have been married to my husband, Eric, since 2015. We have a daughter, Reese, and a son, Graham.
