I've had the privilege of being an English teacher for students at Central Elementary School since 2016. It is my great pleasure to work with your child!
My educational background includes a master's degree in teaching and an elementary teaching certificate acquired from Hamline University in Minnesota. I also have an additional endorsement in teaching English as a second language from UNK. I began teaching in 2009 at Excelsior Elementary in Minnesota, and in 2015, I relocated to Kearney when my husband joined UNK. I live with my husband, Jia, and our two children, Yifan and Yifei. We are enthusiastic travelers, seeking diverse experiences from different places.
Drawing from my own language acquisition experience, I offer students not only academic guidance but also emotional support. Collaborating closely with the classroom teacher, I facilitate small group and individual sessions tailored to each student's unique needs. Our EL class is designed to provide differentiated instruction, addressing individual learning styles and fostering growth in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. With great confidence, I anticipate that your child will thrive at Central, achieving notable progress in academics, self-confidence, and social skills.

He tenido el privilegio de ser un educador de inglés para estudiantes en la Escuela Primaria Central desde 2016. ¡Es un gran placer trabajar con su hijo!
Mi formación académica incluye una maestría en enseñanza y un certificado de enseñanza elemental adquirido en la Universidad de Hamline en Minnesota. También tengo un respaldo adicional en la enseñanza de inglés como segundo idioma de UNK. Comencé a enseñar en 2009 en Excelsior Elementary en Minnesota, y en 2015 me mudé a Kearney cuando mi esposo se unió a UNK. Vivo con mi esposo, Jia, y nuestros dos hijos, Yifan y Yifei .
