Welcome to 4th Grade
Welcome to our 4th grade classroom page! We can't wait to spend the year with you. 4th grade is a fun filled year of learning, hands-on adventures, and academic growth. Highlights of the year include: making dough maps of Nebraska, decorating birthday cakes to celebrate Nebraska's birthday, spending a day on the Oregon Trail, and our annual field trip to Trails and Rails Museum.
I graduated from Hastings College in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in teaching English as a Second Language. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Educational Administration in 2010 from UNK. I have taught 4th grade at Central Elementary since August 2002.
Throughout the school day, your child will receive instruction from both myself and Mr. Saulsbury. I am responsible for the math and science lessons each day, while Mr. Saulsbury teaches the reading and social studies. We both teach our own homeroom for language arts and spelling.
