Welcome!

 My name is Mrs. Schaffnitt.  I teach Title 1 reading to K-5 students.  I have also taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, Kindergarten, and even special education!  I love trying new things!!!  I received my undergraduate and masters degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I grew up in a teeny town south of North Platte, NE and graduated high school from Elm Creek, NE.  My husband and I have two kids and love calling Kearney our home.  I look forward to learning and growing together!
