The Central Elementary Book Fair is next Monday through Friday in the media center. Students can purchase books during the school day. The book fair will be open until 6 PM on Wednesday night for parents.

Next week is School Board Appreciation week. We appreciate the time and work they put into helping our school serve our students. La próxima semana es la semana de Agradecimiento a la Junta Escolar. Congratulations to Avery Kluver, the winner of this year's spelling bee. Zach Bellinger was the runner-up. Avery will move on to compete in an area spelling bee. Thank-you to our EL teacher, Ting Zou and her third grade student, Daniil Martynov for showing NTV viewers how we use technology to help our students who are learning to speak English. Congratulations to Theo Herrera for winning the big prize for this year's fundraiser! Thank-you everyone for your efforts to purchase and sell items. Our school will make nearly $6,000, which is the highest we've earned in many years. Those funds support PE Every Day and Field Trips like our Life Skills trip to the Pumpkin Patch next week. Items and student prizes will be available for pick up on Thursday, November 16th from 3:00-5:00.
