The KPS Merryman Performing Arts Center (MPAC) will dedicate the bronze sculpture, “Double Dip”, by artist Mark Lundeen on Thursday, October 27, at 5:00 pm. The life-size bronze, which was gifted by the Brad Kernick family, greets visitors outside in the south side of Central Elementary. The sculpture depicts an older gentleman with a young girl enjoying an ice-cream cone on a bench together. “My inspiration for this bronze came from the love between a grandparent and grandchild, said Lundeen. “The moments we share are precious.”
El KPS Merryman Performing Arts Center (MPAC) dedicará la escultura de bronce, “Double Dip”, del artista Mark Lundeen el jueves 27 de octubre a las 5:00 p. m. El bronce de tamaño natural, que fue obsequiado por la familia Brad Kernick, recibe a los visitantes afuera en el lado sur de Central Elementary. La escultura representa a un señor mayor con una niña disfrutando juntos de un helado en un banco. “Mi inspiración para este bronce provino del amor entre un abuelo y un nieto”, dijo Lundeen. “Los momentos que compartimos son preciosos”.
