How to Request an Experience:
Submit Your Request: Fill out our Internship and Placement Form so we can learn more about your goals, required hours, and preferences (including any specific schools or educators you’d love to work with).
Notify Our Team: Send a quick follow-up email to Dr. Herrmann at melherrmann@kearneycats.com to confirm your submission.
Placement Matching: Our district leadership will review your request and connect with building leaders to find the best possible match for your experience.
A Few Helpful Things to Keep in Mind:
Streamlined Process: To help us place everyone efficiently, please start by submitting the form rather than reaching out to individual teachers or principals directly. You can note any specific building or staff requests right on the form!
Background Checks: Depending on your level of direct interaction with students, candidates may need to complete a background check or provide documentation of one completed within the past year.
Research Projects: Any research proposals requiring Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval or student involvement will undergo a brief district review before approval.
